“A Journey Through OCD” is a book about my life as a child to now dealing with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and how it has shaped me into who I am. This touches on common OCD fears and traumas through stories of how these fears came to be.
“I’m not going to try to feel better, I’m going to try to get better at feeling.”
Experiences
In preparation for this book I did a deep dive into my past. I spent a lot of one on one with my therapist talking to her about how OCD affected me throughout my life. I also did a deeper look into some of the fears i have within myself. I learned a lot about myself through this entire process and it has helped me push through a lot of my fears.

Sketches
The finished product of my book was formed from multiple rounds of sketches and thumbnails. As time went on and I was able to tighten my sketches up I then was able to think about; color, line, and texture.
